Function Times
The
time that you start your wedding is at your discretion, but you should keep the following points in mind.
Brunch Weddings :
These usually start between
9am – 10am and should finish at the latest 3pm.
 Lunch Weddings :
The ceremony usually begins between 10 & 12 Noon (midday) and
should finish at approximately
6pm. An additional amount of R500 per hour or part thereof will be levied after these closing
times. In any event the wedding must be finished no later than 10pm, after
which a fee of R1,000 per hour or part thereof will be levied until 12pm (midnight) when the function must
end.
Evening Weddings :
Should your wedding function go
past 12 (midnight) an additional amount of R1,000 per hour will be levied, calculated up until the reception
venue is vacated by all the guests and closed and locked.
As the sound of the music
travels and can disrupt our neighbours who have we
require that the music is played at a moderate level, at the discretion of the Management after 12 ( midnight )
until 1am when the DJ or the Band must cease playing completely.
 
Baby sitters can be arranged
for evening weddings and are subject to availability at a rate of R75 per hour. There is a maximum of 4 children
per child minder. This rate will increase to R100 per hour should the child minder have to look after the child
after 12 (midnight) until 1am.
Please note that children are
the responsibility of their parents or guardians and not the responsibility of ‘ The Manor ‘ or its staff. They
are to be supervised at all times. Please bear in mind that we have a swimming pool and fish pond on the
property and accept no responsibility for any accidents due to unforeseen circumstances.
Children
: 
Children
of all ages are welcome at ‘The Manor ‘. Cots are available free of charge, but as ‘ The
Manor’ only has 3 of these and should these 3 be already taken, then the guest requiring the cot must bring
their own.
Children under the age of 2 – 6
years sharing with their parents do not pay for accommodation.
Children from the ages of 6 –
11 years pay half of the single occupancy rate quoted
Children over the age of 12
years pay the normal single occupancy rate.
